Tier II Program Reporting Requirements

Ford Motor Company requires that suppliers who participate in their Tier II Program submit performance reports detailing purchasing data covering spend with the following supplier classifications:

• Minority-owned business (MBE)
• Women-owned business (WBE)
• Veteran-owned business (VET)​

When reporting North American sales, include sales in US, and Canada.

Ford Motor Company accepts the following certifications for diverse suppliers:

• NMSDC and Regional Affliates
• CAMSC
• WBENC and Regional Affliates
• WBE Canada
• WEConnect International
• NVBDC
• VetBiz
• SBA (Veterans Only)
• NGLCC
• USBLN

A copy of the certification is required for your suppliers to be considered towards your goal. Suppliers must upload a valid certificate during their reporting if one is not available in the system.

Reporting Frequency: Reports must be submitted quarterly on the following dates:

• Q1:
  • Period opens April 1st
  • Reports due by April 30th

• Q2:
  • Period opens July 1st
  • Reports due by July 25th
    
  • The Q1 reporting period will be reopened in Q2.
    
  • All suppliers will need to report the following additional information
    
    • ​Total MBE Spending (US + Canada)
      
    • Total WBE Spending (US + Canada)
      
    • Total Veteran Spend (US + Canada)
      
    • Total Purchases  (US + Canada)
      
    • In Q2, this information must be reported for Q1 and Q2.
      
• Q3:
  • Period opens October 1st
  • Reports due by October 30th
• Q4:
  • Period opens January 1st
  • Reports due by January 30th
